
As Partner’s Chief Lending Officer, Rashida McGhie is directly responsible for leading the business development efforts for PCG’s lending programs and achieving the organization’s annual lending goals. Rashida proactively manages PCG’s existing CDFI partner relationships and cultivates new partnerships. Her role is instrumental in driving the organization’s mission of advancing economic empowerment and strengthening financial institutions to bring capital, create opportunity and build wealth.
With over 20 years of experience, Rashida has held various roles in banking and real estate. Prior to joining Partners, Rashida worked as a Senior Relationship Manager at Amalgamated Bank. In this role, she managed existing client relationships and sourced new commercial real estate deals. Previously, Rashida served as a Commercial Credit Officer at Bank of America where she delivered $265MM in debt capital solutions to higher education and not-for-profit clients. She also managed an underwriting team and credit portfolio consisting of 45 client relationships. During her tenure at the bank, Rashida also played a key role in the structuring, underwriting, and closing of $290MM in affordable housing/LIHTC and charter school transactions throughout the Southeast as a member of the Community Development Banking team.
Rashida has also served as Vice President at JPMorgan Chase where she underwrote and closed $379MM in community development projects throughout the Northeast region. Rashida's extensive experience includes roles at Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, New York City Housing Development Corporation, and the New York State Housing Finance Agency. Rashida brings a wealth of knowledge and diverse experience to her role at Partners.
Rashida holds a B.A. in Economics from Vassar College and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.
